Epoxy Resin Serving Board Workshop – 11th April (Adults 18+)

Join us on Friday 11th April at Local Art Shop Ltd for a hands-on Epoxy Resin Serving Board Workshop and create your own stunning wooden resin board in a relaxed, small-group studio setting.

This in-person resin art class is designed exclusively for adults aged 18+ and is perfect for beginners. Whether you’re completely new to resin or simply looking for something creative and different to do, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the full process.

Workshop Details

📍 Location: Local Art Shop Ltd, 4 Main Road, Gedling, Nottingham, NG4 3HP

What You’ll Create

You’ll design and pour resin onto a high-quality wooden serving board, creating a completely unique functional art piece — perfect for entertaining, gifting or displaying in your home.

What You’ll Learn

✔ How to safely measure, mix and pour epoxy resin
✔ Understanding resin-to-hardener ratios
✔ Colour blending and pigment techniques
✔ Creating ocean wave, marbled and abstract effects
✔ Bubble removal methods
✔ Professional finishing techniques
✔ How to work with wooden surfaces

No previous experience is required. All materials and PPE are provided, and full guidance is given throughout.

Important Information

• Strictly 18+ (Challenge 25 policy in place)
• PPE must be worn at all times
• No food or drink permitted in resin work areas
• Please wear old clothing (resin can permanently damage fabric)
• Any respiratory or breathing-related conditions must be disclosed before attending

Curing & Collection

Epoxy resin requires proper curing time.

Your finished serving board will be ready approximately one week after the workshop once fully cured and quality checked.
