Combining Multiple Techniques in One Painting

This sample shows how to combine the use of masking fluid, salting and over painting to create a really unique effect.

First, apply masking fluid where you want the area to be left white. Allow this to dry before wetting the background and dropping your colour onto it.

Sprinkle with salt, and then allow to dry. Over paint with any extra details.
