This beautiful hand crafted coffee river table made in Yew wood and clear Bio resin.
A bespoke wooden coffee table with a clear resin river. Matt black metal leg finish off this beautiful hand crafted table.
Yew wood is prone to getting dented and marked as it is more of a softer hard wood. It is great for this small coffee table just not for a high use piece of furniture. The surface of the table does have some little makes already but does not take away from it look, the resin has a few small bubbles nothing that takes away from it’s looks.
The resign we used was Pebeo pro bio resin. It is a clear resin. There are a few small imperfections in the river and it has got a little yellowing from the wood and couple of dust flakes included in the resin. It was sanded to 3000 grit+ and polished. Come out as a what I refer to as a Satin gloss. Not a high shine but very nice.

Approximate size: 96cm x 43.5cm x 3.5cm wooden top with 36cm legs (can be altered if easy)

I have struggle to take a photo to show off the colour really well it really is beautiful. Must come and see before you buy.

Made from a single slab of Yew.
The slab was cut in to two planed and thickened to bring out the beautiful grain of the wood and to make it flat. The live edge are placed in the center and a clear resin was poured into the space so it is on showing the beautiful edges. The wood is sanded and oiled and finishing wax.
Make the finish of the table more modern/ industrial.
