300 series Bristol is a high quality Bristol weight board with a smooth surface. Very good for mechanical drawing, airbrush, markers or pen and ink.

Strathmore 300 series is a better quality paper, designed for quick studies and to practice techniques with many media types. It is also suitable for final artwork by beginner or student artists.

Bristol smooth has a very smooth, hard surface. This makes it suitable for use with penning mechanical pencils, airbrush or even markers.
The paper has a flat surface with little to no tooth. This makes it ideal for fine lines, detailed drawings and marker coverage.
