All Strathmore watercolour paper are made with felts giving each paper traditional paper look and feel will stop they are acid free to ensure longevity and are made using natural and synthetic sizing in keeping with Strathmore’s strong environmental stance. Series 400 watercolour is popular with watercolours of all levels because of the fine and even washes that can be achieved using these sheets. It also has a strong surface that allows lifting scraping applications. The natural white colour and traditional cold pressed surface makes it an ideal sheet for mastering watercolour techniques or for final artwork.
