Stand alone or attach bug hotel

This insect house or bug hotel was made using some leftover larch plank for the backing and garden fencing planks. Then filled in with various sizes of bamboo.
Designed to be able to stand on its own or attached to a trees, fences or even walls.

Solid timber construction gives excellent protection to insects and will help the natural balance of your eco-system in your garden.
We left the top leave empty so you can fill it with your own choice of fillings. You could even drill more holes into the backing.

We would recommend being slightly off the ground so that it doesn’t rot in puddles or flood the insects think where would be best for them. If attaching on wall or tree please make sure the fixing can take the weight.
