Shipping Returns

Free Postage and Packing on everything (T&C apply see below)

 

All items are shipped out Monday - Friday excluding public holidays, Delivery times are Monday  to Fridays. Weekend and bank holidays are not included in estimates.

Items are sold as 3 working days before dispatch however we attempt to send out next working day where possible but this is not guaranteed.

Shipping services offered are : Royal Mail or Courier

Small or light weight items shipped (normally under 2kg)  via Royal Mail, standard shipping is second class. Up grade is first class.

For larger or heavy weight orders we use a courier service - which normally deliver next working day and require a signature upon delivery, if your parcel has been sent via courier we can provide you with tracking information upon request. ( note Highlands and off Mainland UK do have slower shipping Speeds 3 to 5 working days.)

(Royal Mail charges the same for the whole of the UK . Courier company do charge more for off mainland UK,  We will find the lowest price to send items to you if we need to we will refund over payments.) We include the cheapest P&P in the price for UK mainland only.

Please note Courier price is added in to items purchase price in Zone A & B, address in Zone C and Zone D have an extra cost that is payable before shipping.  (Please note this table is a guide and may change with out notice, if off mainland postcode is not on the list we may not be able to ship to your address with out finding a courier company that ship to you. please contact before ordering).

Zone A & Zone B have the P&P included in the purchase price.

Zone C is set at £8.50 per an items over 2kg & Free under 2kg (price right @ 01-01-2013 subject to change with out notice).

Zone D is set at £8.50 per an item over 2kg & Free under 2Kg (price right @ 01-01-2013 subject to change with out notice).

please note it may be cheaper for buyers in Zone C & D when buying smaller items in multiable orders if the eaxtra P&P gets added to a single order.

 

Shipping Returns

Buyers must notify us within 14 days to return any item. Please contact us by email sales@localartshop.co.uk. If an item has not been received, please call or email.

P&P and costs are non refundable for either direction and item must be unused and in the same condition as sent. We charge you a relist fee (equal to the costs of postage and packaging) for returns unless the goods delivered  were faulty.

For items damaged please contact us to sort it out. Proof of damage is required for claims, please retain all packaging.

 

Guarantee

It is our policy to guarantee all products sold by us are delivered in good condition and within the manufacturers quality tolerances. If the goods arrive damaged, incorrect or faulty, please notify us within 7 days of receipt.

We can not and do not Guarantee delivery days or times.

 

Returning Goods

If the goods arrive damaged, incorrect or faulty, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will organise replacement or refund including cost of delivery.

If you receive an order and decide not to keep it, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods and return goods in their original condition within 14 days for a full refund.

Before returning any goods, please phone us on 0115 9401721 or email sales@localartshop.co.uk to explain the reason for return. We will give you an authorisation number which must be marked on the outside of the package. Please do not return any goods without the authorisation number.

We will also suggest the best way to return any goods.

If goods are faulty or have been sent in error the cost of returning the item will be refunded. If an item is returned for any other reason, the cost of returning the item is the customer's responsibility

 

 Express Delivery

 We offer an express delivery on items under 2kg at an additional cost.  This is an upgrade from standard royal mail 2nd class to royal mail 1st class.

Deliveries are subject to royal mail working practices and do not offer it as a guaranteed 1-2 day service but is shown as estimated time for delivery.

We reserve the right to use a different service if we deem it to be the better service for your item. Courier service is monday-friday.

We will aim to send out any order that is recieved before 10 am (monday - Friday) after that it will be classed as the next days order.

 

Online Exclusive?

Items are not stored in our shop and are dispatched directly from our suppliers or ordered by request of confirmed orders to the shop.

Items normal are delivered in 3 working days of order but some item can take upto 6 weeks as limited stocks are held at our suppliers. Please call use if you have a time limit.

  

Christmas Shipping

We Close the week pre Christmas (18-12-2015 )and reopen the first Tuesday of the New Year (5-2-2016)

We restart posting in the New year. If you wish to cancel order please call 0115 9401721 or email us and we will sort it out on our return.

Online Exclusive

 To offer the largest range of products on our website. We have some "online exclusive" deals that mean we use our supplier to send directly to you rather than stock in store.This does mean that we cut down on our overheads able to pass the savings on to you. Our suppliers will not use your contact details for anything other than the delivery of your product. We have built up a relationship with our suppliers over many years and trust them. We can arrange to have them sent directly to the our shop. If you wish to pick up from the store, please contact a member of staff to arrange. Or if you prefer, we can arrange for us to receive the product and have it sent out via our carriers that there is an additional charge for that.
